step up classes

Step Up Classes focus on special topics designed to equip teens and kids with life enrichment skills that empower them to Step Up to a Brighter Tomorrow - Today.



Each class is repeated as needed. To date several classes have proven effective. The most impressive has been a class developed by Jason and Carla Hale on how to do better in school called "Step Up to Better Grades." Students that participated also took advantage of other activities including tutoring and mentoring. To date a number of students have improved their grades from C's & D's to A's & B's over one or two years time and have sustained consistent high marks.



Also effective has been a class on developing positive conflict resolution skills called "The Shoot Out Principle" and classes on practical foundational teachings of the Christian faith.



A variety of other classes are developing on topics including: Personal Financial Management, Starting Your Own Business, Building Computers; Programming; Computer Use, Music and Worship Theory, Job Hunting and More.
