Kids Rock House

Kids Rock House is dedicated to sowing vital ingredients into the lives of inner-city kids that will enable them to grow into adults that break the pattern of despair, failure, and misery characteristic of inner-city poverty. The Kids Rock team uses a number of activities developed to equip kids and teens with the motivation, character, education, values, and relational skills they need to enjoy healthy families, stable careers and productive lives. Kids Rock House began as a compassionate concern to aid children growing up in disadvantaged circumstances. Throughout the history of Kids Rock a lineup of Christ-centered activities has developed. These include: evangelistic outreaches, student Bible studies, tutoring, fellowship events, community service, life-skills classes, discipleship activities and mentoring.

The Kid's Rock team has been privileged to witness an increasing number of testimonies from at-risk youth, who have received Christ and are developing the characteristics needed to insure a fruitful and abundant adult Christian life. (John 10:10) Step Up to a Brighter Tomorrow - Today.

WHAT A WASTE

The term "Teenage Wasteland" was popularized by The Who's classic hit Baba O'Riley. There is no better description for the series of interwoven obstacles overwhelming America's urban youth. Broken homes, struggling schools, growth of gangs, absence of positive adult role models, widespread drug use, abuse of alcohol and promiscuity combine with generations of poverty and low expectations to insure that only a small number will escape to lead vital, healthy and productive lives.
